On 7 December 2014, the first official Hello Kitty le petit café had opened in the Sogo department store in Hong Kong. Some of the many adorable items on the menu are coffee, cakes, macarons, and waffles, that all have a cute Hello Kitty symbol on them. The almond candies with Hello Kitty wrapper and the macarons with different Hello Kitty prints on them would be great to bring back home as souvenirs.
I like how the store has wood accents in the interior and that it isn't too overly cute or pink. I think that even when you take your boyfriend there, he wouldn't feel uneasy. The take-away tea cups (in one of the bottom pictures) look so cute that I might not be able to throw them away after drinking from them.
